How smart is Elon Musk
Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971. Elon is the wealthiest person in the world, notable for SpaceX, Tesla, OpenAI, and many more relationships such as the rebranding of Twitter to “X”. He studied at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with degrees in economics and physics.
Because of his great success, many people ponder about just how smart Elon is. Granted, certain feats of his such as his understanding of rockets and business make people believe he is a genius, a feat that is understandable. From scoring the highest score ever on a computer aptitude test, to creating and programming at such a young age, people may attribute his success to a high IQ.
Such an attribution is likely well-grounded, as in an Elon Musk biography, it was revealed that Elon Musk scored 730 on math and a 670 on the verbal section on the old SAT (not the one after 1994!). What this score converts to, is an IQ of around low 140s, meaning he could almost be classified as a genius using the IQ scale and as moderately gifted. This means that his IQ puts him at 1 in 266. Although some may believe this score could be higher, do note that his success was determined by other factors, namely his work ethic.
