Judit Polgar, born on July 23, 1976, is widely known as the strongest female chess player in history and one of the strongest worldwide, reaching top 10 globally in Chess. She is often thought to be a megamind genius due to her wild success in chess along with achieving grandmaster in chess at the tender age of 15 years and 4 months, one of the youngest ages to do so.
Her success in chess is often attributed to her IQ, with claims of her IQ reaching up to 170. However, what is less known, is the intense preparation she had at a very young age. Her father, Laszlo Polgar, tried to prove that children could make great achievements if they were primed from a young age. He replicated this idea using chess and found great success with all of his daughters, with Judit however being the most prominent.
For her IQ however, there was never really a publicized or well-known test. However, in a TV show named Battle of the Brains, Judit Polgar would compete against other contestants, which included an IQ test. It would be there that she would not score the highest, having been bested by multiple people. It was implied she did not score exceptionally high, but it never explicitly stated which exact IQ score. Thus, we could only speculate she was not high but not necessarily low either. She would likely be 110-120s, due to the nature of the other results and their wording used in the episode, along with how the show states there were at least three people who scored higher than her in a small sample.
